How do I best take care of my jewelry?
925 sterling silver naturally oxidises over time when exposed to air, liquids or substances from the skin. We recommend the use of a silver polish cloth or a silver cleaning bath to maintain the shiny finish. We also advise storing all jewelry in a dry environment, sealed in plastic or the box it came in.
Our Gold products refers to gold plated 925 sterling silver. The top layer of gold will naturally wear off over time, and can be replated to restore its original colour. We therefore recommend occasional wear only. You can gently clean your gold plated jewelry with a soft cloth.
Avoid direct contact with hard surfaces and direct contact with chemical products such as soaps, hand creams, hair sprays, perfumes, etc. This can affect the shiny finish of the jewelry. When used regularly, jewelry will naturally get marks or scratches. If you ever wish to repolish or replate we offer such services at a competitive price and will be happy to help.

Can I use my Wind jewelry in water?
We recommend removing jewelry before swimming, showering etc. Silver jewelry will not be damaged in water, but may oxidize faster and lose it´s shiny finish. It is especially important to avoid water with added chemicals. We recommend storing jewelry in a dry place, preferably not in the bathroom.
What materials are used?
Our jewelry is made of 925 recycled silver, which means that 92.5% of the jewelry is pure silver.
Do I have to live in Norway to be able to order jewelry from Vind?
No, we ship worldwide. Please note that returns outside Norway are at the customer's expense.
How long does it take before I receive the order?
We usually ship your product within 5 business days. If your size is sold out, it may take longer before our jeweler has your product ready. When ordering gold plated items, the delivery time can also be somewhat longer. We will contact you if we experience such delays.
What should I do if I ordered the wrong ring size?
We want to make it as easy as possible to change product if you have received the wrong size. Send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org informing us of your return. We will do our utmost to ensure an efficient exchange process.
How do I know which ring size I am using?
If you don't know you ring size, visit a local jeweler or jewelry store. Many jewelers will help measure your finger, and will provide the most accurate measurements.
If you want to find your ring size at home, another way is to use a piece of string or dental floss and wrap it around the base of your finger. Mark the point on the string where the end meets with a pen. Use a millimeter ruler to measure the string and then choose the closest measurement on a measurement chart online to find your ring size.
How long is the warranty?
Vind offers a 6-month limited warranty. Note that this warranty does not cover product damage due to wear and tear. However, Vind offers affordable services for your product in the event of an accident.
